Academics
A Curriculum Designed for Growth and Excellence
At Murrieta Springs Adventist Christian Academy, our curriculum goes beyond academics—it nurtures the whole child. Rooted in Christian values, our program fosters intellectual curiosity, spiritual growth, and character development. With a strong foundation in core subjects, hands-on learning experiences, and a focus on critical thinking, students are equipped for success in both academics and life. Small class sizes, dedicated teachers, and a faith-based approach ensure that each child receives the personalized attention and support they need to thrive. At MSACA, we don’t just prepare students for the next grade—we prepare them for a lifetime of purpose and achievement.

Bible
The Adventist worldview accepts the Bible as the standard by which everything else is measured. Four key concepts emerge from a Biblical worldview that can be used as a lens for curriculum development, as well as informing the essential questions and big ideas of any content area:
-
Creation: What is God’s intention?
-
Fall: How has God’s purpose been distorted?
-
Redemption: How does God help us to respond?
-
Re-creation: How can we be restored in the image of God?

Math
The following resources were referenced in developing Elementary Mathematics Standards for Seventh-day Adventist Schools: a sampling of state standards, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), NAD Curriculum Guide for Mathematics, Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (CCSSM), and The Core of Adventist Education Curriculum.

Science
The science standards emphasize performance-based outcomes, focusing on what students should be able to demonstrate rather than merely what they should know. Content knowledge is seamlessly integrated within these performance expectations, ensuring a deeper, application-driven understanding of scientific concepts.
